Default FOAC Pro Gun April 22 primary Voters guide - do your part VOTE

Primary election day Tuesday April 22, 2008 is fast approaching and some firearm owners may be wondering what PRO-GUN candidates they should be Vote for. The primary is were many elections are decided and you can have a big impact on local races.

Well FOAC ( Firearm Owner Against Crime ) does a wonderful job producing an extensive voter guide for PA firearm owners since the early 1990’s.

They are available here at FOAC web site with down loadable voter guides for all of PA (upper Right hand side)

http://www.foac-pac.org/

FOAC created is own standard extensive questionnaire, along with grading candidates, they conduct numerous phone or personal follow up interviews to verify answers, their feeling and intentions on upholding their oath in regards to all aspects of the 2 amendment. It includes subjects such as open carry, concealed carry, so called assault weapons, NFA items, FOAC endorsements are not just handed out like some other voters guides may do, they are earned the hard way.

Also if you feel FOAC information is valuable, you should consider joining FOAC or at the very least getting on their mailing list so you can see how they operate and how you can help out protecting your rights. Please check out newsletter link.

FYI on some particular votes FOAC informs elected officials in advance, that if vote on the wrong side of firearm owners it will count as a negative, anti-gun vote against them or they will pull any future endorsement of them. In this way FOAC holds elected representatives feet to the fire like no one else does.

here was the April 12 2008 email from Kim Stolfer

Firearms Owners Against Crime

E-Newsletter & Gun Owner News Update

Gunowners & PA Constitutional Freedoms under Assault from Criminals (Mayor and City Council) in Philadelphia City Hall

We are told time and time again to be responsible and obey the law regarding firearms and yet in the last two days that advice rings hollow with IRONY for Mayor Nutter and Philadelphia City Council have committed blatant criminal acts by thumbing their collective noses at Title 18, the Crimes Code, and enacting gun control laws. Not the least of which if YOU or I did this we would be in jail awaiting arraignment! We cannot as a nation condone nor permit a double standard in the enforcement of law and each vote of support for each measure creates two violation of the crimes code (Title 18) section 903 (criminal conspiracy) and 6120 (municipal preemption). These violations are both a misdemeanor one crime meaning that each council member and the Mayor have ten potential counts (five for each section of law) that they could and should be charged with.
Lawsuits are pending so stay tuned!

***2008 Primary Election --- April 22nd!!!!!

As all of you know the Primary is close at hand and there are a number of very important races that need special attention in the primary. I have listed them below:

Republican Congress-District 10 Dan Meuser

Republican Pa Senate-District 23 Steven Cappelli

Republican Pa House Of Representatives- District 006 Brad Roae

Republican Pa House Of Representatives- District 012 Daryl Metcalfe

Democrat Pa House Of Representatives- District 015 Vincent Biancucci

Democrat Pa House Of Representatives- District 038 Bill Kortz

Democrat Pa House Of Representatives- District 054 John Pallone

Democrat Pa House Of Representatives- District 056 James Casorio Jr.

Republican Pa House Of Representatives- District 065 Kathy Rapp

Republican Pa House Of Representatives- District 066 Sam Smith

Democrat Pa House Of Representatives- District 075 Dan Surra

Republican Pa House Of Representatives- District 086 Mark Keller

Republican Pa House Of Representatives- District 102 Rosemarie Swanger

Republican Pa House Of Representatives- District 117 Karen Boback

Republican Pa House Of Representatives- District 124 David Argall

Republican Pa House Of Representatives- District 193 Will Tallman

I would encourage all gun owners to consider the importance of these races and to focus attention on each of them with friends, acquaintances and fellow gun owners.

There are a number of critical races that we have outlined above for you to focus on. Perhaps the one with the greatest impact is in the 12th District for the PA House of Representatives. Reelecting Rep. Daryl Metcalfe should be a top priority of ‘every’ gun owner in PA considering his unwavering commitment to our freedoms and his willingness to put his career and reputation on the line to stand with us!! PLEASE CALL OR E-MAIL ME IF YOU CAN VOLUNTEER!!!

Again, attached to this message is the April/2008 FOAC e-newsletter. For more important developments and news links that contain up to the minute information on political, election and recent firearms issues please visit our website at www.foac-pac.org. IF you would like FOAC to hold a special meeting in your area to energize local gun owners and would like to organize one please contact us for further details.

Best Regards,

Kim Stolfer, Chairman

We are down to the wire for this Primary and ask that you please help the pro-gun legislator closest to you!

Please also check out the thread I just posted about delegates: http://www.pafoa.org/forum/pennsylva...tml#post280397

EDIT: I forgot to add that all of the delegates in the above link fully support the only presidential candidate endorsed by FOAC.

I clicked on Zone 5 and it says the document (voter guide) is being revised. Will it be ready for Tuesday?

If it is anything like that last cycle, then no. From what I've seen they're pretty good with the western part of the state but forget the east.

I just phoned Kim Stolfer after checking the FOAC web site. Kim said it should have been already updated for Zone 5, (not 5A). Kim was on other line at the time i spoke to him, so it was a seconds long call.

If its not updated before monday please email Kim Stolfer activist@fyi.net for a copy of zone 5.

But out in the south eastern part of PA its really slim picking to find anyone Pro-gun running for any office.

Special note to anyone in Allegheny Co district 39 there is going to be a update to voters guide. A Pro-gun person is going to try to replace the ANTI-GUN Rep that claims to be sportsmen / hunter and gun owner that has occupied that office for far to long.

He used to be my former state Rep till he was redistricted away from me in 2000. Still as long as he remains in office, its all of PA gun owners problem, like every other anti-gunner Rep from any part of the state is common problem for every gun owner anywhere in PA.

This is one of the reasons for doing Harrisburg gun rallies to make sure they know gun owners out here.

If you think that elections don't matter and you live in the remote parts of PA makes you safe from the anti-gunner elected from the big cities. THINK AGAIN when ever they get the votes, you will be out raged at how fast major anti-gun legislation passes into law. Read some of the proposed anti-gun legislation here, that ONLY lack the votes to get it passed into law. http://acslpa.org/n-legislative/pa_p...egislation.htm

GUN OWNERS BETTER GET INVOLVED and BETTER START VOTING
We lost solid pro-gun Reps by less than 400 votes in the last election cycles. One gun club in that district could have change those elections and control in the house IF they only would have voted.

If you ever think your vote doesn't count or is a waste of your time go to a cemerty full of fallen veterns that died for your rights and tell it to them.
