More GFZ,s comming to PA
Closer to home, state lawmakers have offered a slew of new laws, even though Pennsylvania already has fairly strict gun laws.
Sen. Anthony Williams, D-Philadelphia, proposes legislation that would "address public safety and gun ownership accountability through registration of firearms in the Commonwealth. Currently, the Uniform Firearms Act does not require registration of all firearms."
Sen. LeAnna Washington, D-Montgomery/Philadelphia, says she plans to introduce legislation "amending the firearms law to include recreational centers, parks and playgrounds as prohibited areas one may carry a firearm, and increase the penalty from a first-degree misdemeanor to a third degree felony."
Sen. Lawrence Farnese, D-Philadelphia, proposes enacting a "strict assault weapons ban in Pennsylvania, modeled after the federal ban in effect from 1994 to 2004. This would include a ban on high-capacity ammunition magazines."People always ask me why i never smile.I TELL THEM IT'S BECAUSE MY CORPSE IS STILL BREATHING AND THEY DON'T FUCKING GET IT!

Any chance we can let New Jersey annex Philadelphia. They can have all the gun control they want then.

Re: More GFZ,s comming to PA
I think one of the biggest problems that would solve is PA being a blue state. That's where about 60% of the welfare bums live. And the thing that gets me is that Philly already has stricter gun laws than most of PA being a "city of the first class" and all. I agree with annexing it to NJ.

Re: More GFZ,s comming to PA
As a Philadelphian, Let me say I'm sorry for what my reps [the ones I didn't vote for and email complaints to constantly] are doing. That being said I'm all for giving SOME sections of Philadelphia to NJ. If we can just hang on the NE part. The part that tried to break away in the 80's "Liberty County"
See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northea...arate_identity
I also think Camden would love to expand. The PPD would love enforcing NJ style gun laws and the NJSP could give them lessons.
If you don't want keep the NE aka Liberty County, can I at least move into somebody's garage with my gun collection until I get on my feet?Last edited by RebelRaider5; January 13th, 2013 at 03:12 AM.

Re: More GFZ,s comming to PA
Murder= we all agree it is wrong, illegal and there are very clear laws against it.
Rape= we all agree it is wrong, there are serious, clear cut laws and penalties as well.
Robbery= we all agree it is wrong and illegal. Once again there are clear cut laws and penalties for committing this crime.
Self defense= Legal. We all agree that we are legally allowed to defend ourselves, our children and family as laid out in the Bill of Rights.
Why the are we being denied to legally defend ourselves on property that we pay for? Are these politicians telling a mom that's at a playground with their child she is not allowed to defend them? Does that make the state and these politicians NOW responsible for those that are attacked in these gun free zones? Why are we denied our legal right to defend ourselves on property that we pay for? I hold these lawmakers in contempt for denying me the right to protect me and my family while at a park or whereever.
