I'd have to prove that first. And I'd really rather not involve myself with that person again. No idea where she lives or if she's even alive, and I'd like to keep it that way.

By far the most prominent and well versed Gun Attorney in the State. If you Google this gentlmen you will see that he has lectured across the state on gun laws and wrote opinions on gun law in PA.

He's not cheap but he's also very much on the square!

I know that you are sick of dealing with this sort of thing, but I wouldn't give up on it. If you have the money, then I would definitely get a lawyer and take them to court. In the long run when they are ordered to return your firearm, it's going to feel great to say that you beat the Philly PD.

I agree about Mr. Mirowitz, he'll get the job done, and he won;t bullshit you about what is involved. At least give him a call and discuss it, and then make your decision. It is very possible that you are making more out of it then really is. Honestly, if the charges were dropped, and the officer suggested that it be given back, there is no reason that this would bring in your EX. It is completely an administrative decision on the part of the PD. Mr. Mirowitz has been on the committees that drafted MANY of the gun laws in PA. He usually, whenever possible, put it that one could get his/her attorney fees paid, if he/she wins.
