Default 19th District, Quince Eddens, response to e-mail

I recieved my alert to sign the Petition for Paul and it turns out that the gentleman running my locale is also running for congress. His name is Quince Eddens, I sent him a note asking his stance on a few things like gun control, EPA restrictions on cars and so on. This is what I got back, I have to tell you I have been waiting a long time for someone like this to run. I know in the past I have had someone of a poor attitude when it comes to local elections due to what seems an impossible task of getting to know who you are voting for. I feel like this is going to be a good year after all!

Hello Todd,

My platform is very similar to that of Ron Paul. If there is no direct authority deligated from the Constitution, our government has NO legal authority to be involved in it...period.

2nd Amendment: This was written to insure that Americans would always have the right to protect themselves.....from enemies both foreign and domestic.....and most especially their own government. Gun control has historically been followed by genocide. For the best documentary on that subject, google; "Innocents Betrayed". It's a short trailor, but try to see a copy of the full film. For a clear understanding of "US Gun Laws" go to www.originalintent.org and read the treatice by Dave Champion. After which, you will know more about the subject than your Congressman.

I heard tell that even Adolf Hilter was a rather jovial fellow at times. Thomas Jefferson said it best, "Speak to me not of the good will of men, but let the chains of the Constutition bind them". In otherwords, our elected servants were not given cart blanch to "interpret" the Constitution in their own way! They swear an oath, under penalty of treason (thats right...read it again), to protect and defend our private property........NOT steal it.

Anyone that would sign "The Patriot Act", "The Homegrown Terrorism Act", "The Veterans Dissarmament Act" is simply a trator against the American people.

Our founding fathers knew very clearly the true nature of all governments......they tend to become corrupted. And when that happens, the government will NOT "reform" itself as we are hearing about in Pa.

If Ron Paul is elected president, we will need to have a congress in place that he can work with....to take apart the mostrosity of a government that has wrapped it's tennicles around this country and the world. If elected, that will be my objective....starting with rescinding the Federal Reserve Act.

Thanks for your interest and I look forward to meeting you and your friends when you come to sign the petitions.

Quince Eddens
