I don't advocate illegal actions and don't like to think of what ifs. I mean we could really go off the board, what if cows fly (carry an umbrella for the droppings is one thought). However this does bring up one of my biggest concerns. There are many people 'migrating' from New York and New Jersy becasue they don't like the repressive laws and rules. Once they get here they turn around and say things are too lax (like gun control laws). Between these 'immigrents' and those sucking off the social teet in the urban centers, we ARE loosing sway on teh traditional values like hunting and shooting sports. A more pertenent question as opposed to what if, should be how do we prevent it from occuring?
I know one of my thoughts is not very PC, but I often thougth the founding fatehers had it right, only property owning freemen could vote. In this day and age, I would LOVE to see that only those paying into the tax system (i.e. those who have and hold jobs, not on welfare, etc.) can vote. Of course we'd have teh professional trouble makers like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton saying this would disenfranchise the poor and 'underclass' but realistically if they have no skin in the game why should they have a say how the money is spent? If you look at it realistically reparations for slavery has been paid many times over in the form of welfare, and they keep electing people who will give them something, rather than protect the Commonwealth, or the republic as a whole. Sorry, I'll end my rant here. |

YEAH! How about Secretary of State. Then I could tell some of these idiots exactly what we think of them!

Damn, I wanted Secretary of State! They get the best planes. I guess I would settle for top life guard on the hot babe beach and if Sec State lends me his plane every once in a while....

Yup...BUT kids in wars grow up fast!
Many kids who are 18 are still "brains full of mush" and quite frankly arent mature enough! As I've said in the past however, military personel of ANY age SHOULD be able to carry. They've got training and in most cases the added maturity to make life and death decisions.
