Effective product safety standards for handguns. Translation........We need to be able to sue any manufacturer out of business who doesn't play by OUR rules ...........We control the guns.........We control the country!

The eradication of needless gun violence. Here is where we agree. Lets get rid of needless gun violence..................But If I have to shoot some critter who is trying to kill me, that is not needless.........That is needed self protection not violence Per Se'

I see at least 2 major flaws in their little plan. First off, to start a registry you will need for the people to be dumb enough to actually register their firearms. Secondly, how do they plan to confiscate all the guns? I don't know of too many LEO's that would be stupid enough to try and carry out something like that. It would be suicide. Its just like these elitists to have all these socialist ideas and no way to make them work. The right to keep and bear arms was given to the people for self defense, and to keep the government in check. It may soon be time to remind a certain group of people just who is in charge here.

The whole anti-gun crowd is full of crap. The whole argument is nothing but a ruse. It's about money for the lawyers and the courts. If they made tougher laws directed at the criminals, eventually the problem would become much smaller because the criminals would be locked up. Then where would all these lawyers have to work?

Even if you could wave a magic wand and make every single gun disappear, there would still be murders, muggings, and robberies. In fact the rates would most likely increase.

They already have accomplished part one, with an illegal firearm owners database.
The PA state police have spent a pile of your tax money trying and keeping their illegal gun owner database with the court system help. Yet the PSP can show NO tangible results other than 120-140 prosecutions a year, from prohibited person’s attempts at buying them. Ask them to show how it has reduced crime by keeping your name or other law abiding gun owners names in their database forever stop crime.

2007 PICS Upgrade -- $32,000,000

Total Costs to date -- $126,000,000

Wouldn’t the money be much better spent catching and locking criminals up rather than making list of law abiding gun owner’s firearms? See also SB 738 for concurrent senate bill.

Hence the reason for this thread, know your enemy. Learn how to defend against their lies, defeat them with facts & figures before they do US in first. These dark anti-gun forces have a plan and are extremely well financed, which makes them very dangerous, all they have to do is convince the sheep to disarm everyone so everyone will be equally safe from the wolves.

What is really needed is for gun owners to get educated on reasons for personal ownership of firearms makes for a safer society. Gun owners as need to take a personal active part in preserving all of our freedom that so many gave so much in the past for US to enjoy today. Get involved, thanks to place like PAFOA its much easier than it has been in the past to do your part in keeping your rights for your children and grandchildren to enjoy as well.

Just remember...organizations like CeasefirePA are the equivalent of the Ku Klux Klan...just another anti-rights outfit.
