He is smart. He planed it right. It is the end of the year and the people who work for a living have used up their personal and sick days. They can bus in the worthless ones who we work to support to show the news teams how the 'people' support the end of guns. He could not pull this in the new year when he might have to face a larger group counter-marching.

I saw this on the morning news before I came to work. This guy just doesn't give up. I'll give him an A for persistence. Now, if he could only direct it toward the actual criminals....

P.S. Has he tried spinning the Omaha mall shooting into his argument yet?

I have a question for those in the know. I know the Traitorous Mayors, Governor and other elected officials are protected by legislation from legal prosecution, question is the Police chiefs that are in attendance, Can we nail them on violating A1 S21? Can this be in anyway interpreted as attempted suppression of civil rights under color of uniform? AKA do we have ANY legal recourse to charge them with a crime?

In addition to this, residents of the towns these chiefs hail from, should contact Internal Affairs, register a complaint, violation of oath of office, and Misrepresentation of Crime Statistics. Also isn't there a professional board of Ethics for Sworn officers in the State, if So, everyone of us should file an ethics complaint with the board.

Intel on this event was right on the money made a post about it here.

Got some inside intelligence from a staffer that works for a major SE anti-gunner Rep, this staffer believes in our cause, so they feeds us inside information when they can without getting caught. That is all I am saying about that, so don’t ask.

Here is the scuttle butt: Governor is tentatively planning to gather all the anti-gun mayors from around the state to do a public relations event, applying political pressure to move / force anti-gun legislation before x-mas break.

The date I was informed of is around Dec 10, 2007 for the mayor to make a public plea to get gun control moving. Notice you won’t ever hear them talking about criminal control, just always talking about trying to only control tools of criminals.

The Anti-gunners are really getting desperate, and frustrated in PA.

Also our governor would like a higher office and to prove he is worthy of that reward, he must prove that he can get things done politically, in PA its gun control, so for Eddie to get that reward of a higher office our constitutional rights have to be sacrificed.

The plain language of our founding documents and the writing of our founders would let you think these issues where settled long ago and that future generation could live their lives in peace knowing this.
The Constitution can't get up and defend itself, that duty falls on all of US If we choose to or not to stand and defend it or just sit back, watch a death of a thousand "reasonable, common sense" laws slice it, shred it to death. I choose to fight it in legislative arena to protect the Constitution intact as originally written by the founding fathers.

Shawn I would like to answer your question about who to support that actually gets something done without comprising our Constitutional rights.

Living in Allegheny County and western PA in general has lots of pro gun groups that can really use people’s direct help. The two that I work directly with for many years is ACSL and FOAC, there goals are very similar to my mine. Kim Stolfer is the legislative chairman of ACSL and chairman of FOAC you may have a read a post or two on PAFOA about Kim or ACSL and FOAC. Both have OPEN meeting, they need and always welcome volunteers gun owners help to fight for all of our rights. Both of these groups have very shallow pockets, yet they mange do lots of things legislatively with the meager financial resources available to them. How can this be? It’s because they have very active volunteers that make the all difference, putting themselves in the front lines to directly protect our freedoms. People who willingly give their time, support and most important, are directly involved in the Pennsylvania political process are much more effective, than someone that is just paid to do “a job” person could ever be. In my opinion and experience people educating themselves with facts and knowing the issues, along with personally getting involved is much better choice than simply giving your money to a big name mercenary force that does what ever they want with your money, and relying on them for the protection of your rights. Worse yet they claim to be your voice in Harrisburg and never ask your view points and are not accountable how your donations are spent. I am just talking state and local not national level but it that not where most of the problems everyone post on PAFOA are running afoul of or it directly effects our firearm ownership comes from? Almost always local or state level.

I make this open invitation to everyone on PAFOA come and attend one of these monthly meeting if you live in the Allegheny county area. Judge for yourself if there mission, objectives and goals are worthy of your support. Come, listen, talk and ask constructive questions on how you can help to preserve your Constitutional rights for your children and grand children to enjoy….
Or do nothing

Thanks, you are right of course, the constitution cannot defend itself.

It is all of our resposibility, and I intend to take some of my share of that resposibility.

And I thankyou for the good work that you do.

I think they planned this and the Black Caucus walkout to coincide with the upcoming introduction of House Bill 641 otherwise known as The Castle Doctrine Bill.

What a stunning defeat for Fat Ed and the Phillycrats if HB641 makes it out of committee.
