Gun-A-Month failed 12-17 and ending preemption failed 10-19.
However, Criminalizing failure to report lost or stolen firearms was tabled. The word I hear is they want to make minor, woefully inadequate changes, than try to pass it. The cosmetic changes gimmick is what federal Congressmen used to justify passing Bill Clinton's 1994 crime bill, which contained the infamous and misnomered Assault Weapon Ban. We need to keep the pressure on our legislators (as always, in a polite and professional manner) and let them know that shell games designed to sneak in onerous gun controls are simply not acceptable. We will not be deceived by sleight of hand tactics.

We need a list of the legislators who voted our way and make a point of contacting them to say thank you. Its a beautiful thing!
