Wouldn't changing the definition of firearm as lines 11-16 state, allow ANY long gun to be carried concealed with an LTCF? Since the current definition only includes handguns, SBS, and SBRs?

Beyond the money it is what is being said. By putting the money in a Violence Reduction Fund, the legislators are saying gun ownership is bad and guns are bad. And I am sure this money will be used to spread the brady bunch ideas.

These kinds of bills are even more insidious then the ones defeated on Tuesday. Soon enough, the tax would be prohibitive.

so, I have to pay for criminals? I'm not the one engaging in violence with my gun.

Here's an idea, let's add a 1% tax to legislators salaries and put in into a corruption protection fund.

LMAO !!

Better make it 2% so Ed Rendell has something to siphon off. It would be fitting to name the fund in his honor.
