What is the intended use of this rifle? Really it's impossible to give advice on an optic without that information.

My friend KCZeppelin has one of those on his FAL .308 and has not had a problem with it to date. Not a bad optic for the price.

The ACOG clone has great reviews from Midway customers. Normally, Bushnell doesn't make great red dots, but it looks like many are happy with that particular model.

In the $150 range, you coul also get an Ultradot StrikeDot.

I had one on(STRIKEDOT) my RRA 9mm carbine and it worked great but my friend had one on his RRA 5.56 and it crapped out before he even got it to the range. He called customer service and they replaced it for him. So it looks like they stand by their product.

i have one of those an completely love it, i actually just got another forum member to order one I think.. very well made, you can tell that as soon as you pick it up, the green/red option is awesome to have to, you dont realize how much it helps to switch when needed.

i say go for it, and midway seems to have the best price for the "known" websites around the net.

Might be making a trip to cabellas they have a few different ones probably will not buy from them but i would get to check them out in person. But i have a 30 dollar offf a purchase of 150 or more so maybe that will bring them down to a more reasonable price.

The StrikeDot is the old Hakko red dot made in Japan.
