The two Barska 1X50 red dots I ordered came the beginning of last week. It was $20.00 per unit well spent. At first I thought the thing was huge, however once attached it looked good on the 995. Havn't gotten out to sight-in yet, because of the weather, but I had it out in the back yard looking through and as I suspected with the 50mm lens, I could look through with both eyes open and see the dot quite easily with the intensity turned up to 4
The battery (that comes with it) installs on the top which is also the intensity dial. The dial goes from 0 which is off, to 11. The lens is nice and clear, and as it was raining pretty hard, did not fog up in the 10 minutes or so I had it out. IMO this is a good inexpensive sight, and should compliment the 995 at about 50yds. Like any other scope, the elevation and windage adjustments are on the top and side. It took all of about 2 minutes to mount on the TS rail, and fit is very tight. Originally I had the front iron sight off, however I chose to re-install, and the dot, although not yet sighted in, splits the iron sight nicely.
