Default Bushnell Holosight XLP

Anyone have any experience with the Bushnell Holosight? I have several red dots on .22's and handguns, but have not tried the hologram type sights.

They are good sights, basically the same as an EO. I've shot both on the same outing and had the same results.

I have not handled them, but it appears that the Bushnell has a somewhat smaller optical screen - or what ever you call the glass reflector part. Does this matter?

The screen is not smaller on the bushnell, the EOtech just has an aluminum hood to add further protection to the optic. The low profile Bushnell holosight is smaller. The large HUD is one of the prime advantages of the holosight. I also don't think it meets the same strenuous testing, but if you're not bringing it over to iraq, not a big concern.

Thanks for the input. Sounds like I need to look hard at the EO

The Holosight and the Holosight XLP are two different models and the XLP does have a smaller viewing area that the standard Holosight.
