m68 arms mount

i just got my arms carry handle mount in. i was trying to put it on my scope but it doesnt sit flush (bottom to top) its got a gap its looks equal side to side but is this correct? everything else feels pretty tight where it mounts to the carry handle, i just hope it will hold zero. its a comp m2 with arms #68 mount. thanks for any help with this.
