Default ACOG - anything quality cheaper than the Trijicons?

Shortly after paying out the butt for my Trijicon TA01 ACOG, I sold it. I didnt realize I could buy an adapter and mount it on my flat top AR15. I had it on the carry handle and HATED craning my neck to see through it.

Well a year later i want another ACOG. I really like the Trijicon but I can't really justify spending that much a second time. Not to mention trying to explain to my wife why I "NEED" one that expensive.

I don't want a red dot like the EOTech, I want an actual ACOG.

I haven't spent a LOT of time looking (yet), so I though I'd see what you guys may recommend. So how about it, any recommendations on stuff I should look into?

How about the Trijicon Tri-power it is about half the cost of an ACOG.

Leupold cq/t
Meopta Meostar (kdot)
Millet DMS or the GRSC CRS (not the same level but good)

The tri-power is not a magnified optic.

+1 for the Meopta Meostar K-Dot http://www.meopta.cz/index.php?id=130&lang=en, I have one and absolutely love it. It is a true 1x at the low end and 4x and the high end. The field of view at 1x is over 100ft. The lenses are near perfect. You can find them for $600-700.
