Any body got any recommendations for a scope/source for a pistol? I have a Beretta Neos and i'm looking to maybe throw on a low power scope and make it super plinker/squirrel gun. Don't want to spend and mint, but would like a decent scope.

Most people put a red dot on their 22 pistols. I'd suggest Ultra Dot or ADCO red dots for 22s.

Thanks aubie, but I have a red dot (probably should've mentioned that), and never really cared for it, went back to iron. Either I'm stupid (which is a distinct possibility) or I just don't get the point. It doesn't help me see the target any better, and the "faster" target aquisition thing... Yeah, doesn't work for me. So I was thinking something like a 1.5-2X optical. Or does someone make a magnified red dot?

I know that Leupold makes pistol scopes...I'm going to go with a Burris 2x pistol scope myself.

My squirrel gun; an 8 3/8" S&W 617 with Burris 2X scope. Will hold 2" at 100 yards from a rest.
