Why OC if you can conceal anyway? Is it just simply to prove the point that you can, and keep up with the law?
Why? Because he is able to, simply put. He is a law abiding citizen observing his freedom to protect himself in the fashion that is within the line of the law, and that is all that needs to be said. Sometimes it is for comfort, sometimes it is for right, but whatever it is, if he is not using his rights, or if I am not using our rights to bear arms openly, then that is a dead law and much more easily taken away by our law makers who are just itching for a reason to take something away from us.

I'm less afraid of our lawmakers wanting something taken away than those same soccer moms convincing them to.

As both a gun owner and a motorcyclist, the soccer mom is not just a threat to my rights, but to my life. (Frankly, there should be a special class of licensing to "carry" (drive) anything bigger than, say, a Corolla. Especially an SUV.)

bringin back this thread

4/12: OC'd in coatesville from parked car to H and R block uneventful, afterwards went to happy days diner in thorndale again uneventful.

Normally i equate my uneventful OC due to fact that im generally in a shirt and tie when im OC'ing however, this time i was in jeans and tshirt and OC'ing a 5" stainless 1911 not easy to miss, but again it seems noone paid me any attention

OK we want the thread back - it's back...

OC'd yesterday Commerce Bank in Wayne - no issues

Bagel Factory in Wayne - ran into the youth minister and youth leaders from our church out for brunch. They know I carry all the time - but this is the first time they saw me OC'ing (I usually CC in church) - Minister turned around to say Hello - my 1911 was right at eye level about 18" from her face - her eyes got real wide - and she looked at me and I just smiled and said hello. Lots of surprised looks from some of the other leaders - but nothing was said to me... My wife chatted with the assistant director for about 5 minutes and then we went on our way.....

Good OC day today. No issues McDonalds in Rosemont (Montgomery County) and Starbucks in Wayne.

Met another PAFOA member (forgot his handle) who is leading the Students for Concealed Carry on Campus at Villanova and lent him a box of holsters to support the protest next week. I met him at the McDonalds. We spent a good 15-20 minutes standing outside talking - There were a few people that noticed - but no comments - People just went about their business.
