Default My open carry story today, well sorta!

I normaly CC, prob about 99.9999% of the time. Since the memorial shoot I have been OCing more often. It's not that I have anything against OCing, it's just I have always felt more comfortable CCing.

Well today I was meeting up with some friends that OC 100% of the time, so I decided I would as well. I was running a bit late trying to get to a particular store before they closed, so I grab my boots, grab a vest I was painting for a friend I was meeting, grabbed my wallet keys etc, throw my holster on, holster my gun and go warm up the truck,,, all the time waiting for my fiancee to get ready...

It's about noon at this time so I run back in the house to tell my fiancee to shake a leg...

We leave, drive an hour to the store, meet my buddies, stayed at the store about 2.5 hours getting my CB tuned and tweeked, ride back to my buddies house, hang out till around 6ish............. Then my fiancee says "hey, do you realize your holster is empty!!!"

So at this point I'm like WTF??? I felt naked all of a sudden, and slightly confused!

Then it dawned on me,,,,, SHIT.. I went to the bathroom right before we left and placed it on the counter,,, which is where it was when we got home....

I dont know whats worse, me forgetting it, or my fiancee noticing before me or my 3 OCing buddies did.. lol..

Oh well, I tried to OC today!

Can u say DUHHHHHHH!!!!! That was funny, very funny! It's a good thing that some nutso didn't walk into the place you were at and start spittin lead. I think, as you reached for your weapon, we would've heard the loudest OH Shit ever! Remember, next time check, check, and double check that you are dressed properly before leaving the house.

lol, dude I have no freaking clue how I didnt notice, but I normally carry CC in the 11-11:30 position or with a shoulder rig. so just by feeling my holster on my hip I didnt think it felt empty... I think being in a rush had alot to do with it..

Your brain just wanted you to bring your body to Baltimore's inner harbor today, where Maryland Shall-issue was holding an empty holster protest.

I can't speak for the other two but I noticed. I first wondered why the hell you had on your serpa. Then why you bothered to wear it when it was empty. I assumed you had it in your front holster because the hip one bothers you. Ya keep banging it into everything lol.
Tell you what though, that guy didn't seem happy to be around us all.
