Default That was..........interesting, at Best Buy today.

Walked into Best Buy to buy a laptop for my grandma today. First thing I see is their LP guy manning the doors (As always) and chatting with one of the cashiers halfway down the line.

As soon as he glances over at me to greet me, he sees my Glock and lights up.

And turns directly to said cashier, a girl maybe 19-20.

And yells, "Look out, NOW you're going to get shot!" and gives me this big stupid grin while he gets yelled at by the cashier (I wasn't listening after that, but she wasn't impressed. :P)

I guess that means that Best Buy location is A-OK for OC! I'd rather not say which one it is, just in case he could get in some serious trouble for that comment to his co-worker though.

(As a side note, this Toshiba is a great buy for the money. It's running the hell out of The Sims 3 without any issues, even after hours straight with tons of stuff open. Yes, I play the Sims 3.)

Nice.

I work at Best Buy, and tonight I actually got offered a position for LP. I was doing Inventory, but they had me covering LP most of the time, so there is more hours and a pay raise, I am taking it.

Nice.

What do you think of the Asus laptop with similar characteristics that BB also has on sale?
It comes with 4gb of ram instead of 3. And it sells for $500.

I'm thinking of picking one up.

I've been to the North Fayette Township (near Robinson Twp) Best Buy without incident.

I do truly hate when people make stupid comments about you shooting them. Ugh. Glad to hear you were able to continue shopping without hassle, though.

As for laptops, I always get mine from CSR Technologies. They deal with off-lease Dell refurbs. I've purchased six now (for myself and family). I just got a Latitude D620 for $295.

I'm not a huge fan of Asus after my Crosshair burned out for no good reason, then the TWO replacements they sent me were DOA and they said "Tough luck!" and stopped responding to me.

Which Best Buy were you shopping in? I OC'd at the Waterfront location the other day with no problem.

Wow.. that is awesome. I don't agree with the LP's comment to the cashier. We have enough people with "gun issues" without comments like that lol. I should stop into my new best buy store in Lancaster. I will let you guys know how that goes. More thank likely it will be uneventful shopping as usual.

The Best Buy in Cranberry Township, Butler County should be good for OC. I was there today with my Glock 17 and nobody seemed to notice.
