Don't be TOO nervous, you'll scare folks! FWIW, I OC at my WalMart several times every week. Only had a few "encounters", and every one has been positive. Just regular folks, no security, no management, no LEOs. I'm betting you'll be back here in a couple hours with a positive report of your own.

Go for it man. The majority of walmarts are usually indifferent/dont say anything about OC. You just see the bad experiences here because people like to share these experiences to let others know what theyre dealing with/where not to go/how to get help rectifying the situation.
If everyone posted their positive/non incident walmart excursions we'd have to open a new sub forum to concealed & open carry called :walmart carry

I don't remember a real Walmart experience (like told to cover or kicked out) in almost six months. The good people here took care of Walmart. I OC in two of them every week and probably others once a month.

I have only had one negative encounter at Walmart. I have been back OC to that store and many others with out issue.

Well, I went to Walmart, no problems...except when I got back to the sporting goods....
And they were out of 9mm....damn. Oh well, so I bought some .22 and some buckshot and I was on my way. Nobody said anything or even looked at me weird. Then I went over and got some groceries, still no issues. It was exactly how I hoped it would go. After shooting we stopped at the Zelie BK and still no issues and even a dirty look. Awesome, I suspect I'll be OCing a little more often now. |

OC-ing is fun...it's an almost liberating experience in that you don't have to worry about keeping your shirt over your gun or worry about printing - it's out there for all to see - and, for the most part, people don't give a damn.
