any experience with open carry in or around ephrata/lancaster?

anyone here carried or regularly still carry in lancaster county? more specifically, ephrata and if so, any problems from police? i'm considering doing it because things are getting crazy around here - i don't have a ccw because i'm not yet 21, but i feel i have just as much a right to protect myself and my wife as the next guy............... i'm also trying to become a law enforcement officer and the last thing i need is to have any kind of felony gun charges............. thanks,

I'd like to know as well. I go to Ephrata to eat at Sonic about once every two months with a few buddies.

I've lived in Ephrata for twenty years and doubt that you will have any problems with open carry.

Having said that, it only takes one person to yell "he's got a gun" and you could have a ton of serious inconveniences on your hands.
