Holleta, you're a wild man! One day I hope I have the balls to O... ummm... OC? (no, that's not quite right... hmmm...)
Anyway, you made me laugh!
And PLEASE, no photos of the legs!

Steve, The PPC matches are quite fun, well run and well suited for first time shooters all the way to expert. LCLEO has one or two left before year end. Next one is 9/22. I would highly recommend to all.

Emptymag, I'm still trying to decide which is more of an offensive weapon/crime detterent....my empty holster or my sexy legs

Well, maybe if I don't have to work or have other conflicting issues, I might try and make the shoot on the 22nd.

Yes, a guard. Don't know why I wrote deputy in the post.

You should have seen some of the deputies that served as bailiffs on the trial I sat as juror on... I think the court stenographer could have taken them down

I remember way back in the early 90s, walking into the Northampton County Government Building carrying concealed. The guard asked me to step through the metal detector. I replied that I did not need to do that, since I was carrying and admitted as much. The guard turned to another guard and said, in a very excited manner:

"He has a gun! What do I do, what do I do!?!"

"Take it away from him", the other guard replied calmly. "Give him a receipt for it and lock it up over in the lockers."

The one guy was so worked up you would think it was the first gun he had ever seen on someone not a cop. The other guy treated it like it was a regular everyday occurrence. Then the topic shifted to where the first guard could get a butt bag like the one I had, which was one of those with the velcro ends that you could rip open in a second or less and have the gun fall into your waiting hand. Since then I have been wimpy and left it in the truck on the very few times I have had to enter one of those buildings. Of course, the only time I have ever had to go back was once in five years to renew my permit!

FRI 9/14/07
Dollar General, Old AMES plaza, Wilkes-Barre
Wife needed kids party favors or something... boring. They do have a big candy section though

Freakin WAL*MART, Again! Yes, my wife dragged me in that place yet again. Friday nght, 8PM. Place is absolutely crazy
Had a good encounter. Was looking for something in the sporting goods while she was off getting a "potty seat" or somesuch for the little one
Guy next to me made a comment about the in-line muzzle loaders to which I said something in return. He agreed and procedes to motion towards my G23 and ask what I'm carrying. Turns out he is well aware of the legality of OC and mentioned that he wished more people would do it in more places (like wal*mart)
Gave him a PA Gun Rights flyer and we chatted for a while about training and such. We may have some more company OC'ing in wilkes-barre soon

Super KING Chinese Buffet, Wilkes-barre (by Wal*Mart)

SAT 9/15/07

Needed propane tanks filled. Expensive diesel Volkswagon pulls up to diesel pumps and older couple stares and talks while he is pumping diesel. I'm standing at the propane shed waiting. Guess they thought I was robbing the propane shack :/

I get up that way from time to time. If I see someone with a Glock on their hip,I'll say hello & introduce myself.

I am sort of suprised that no employees at Walmart have said anything about the piece on your hip. I have read / heard about other OCers getting flak at Wallmart stores.

Speaking of Super China Buffet......my wife and I (carrying concealed ) swung by there to eat last night, only to find the place had closed up. Sign said they were not re-opening, thanks for the business.
