Default Question in regards to todays incident..

Question in regards to today's incident... can be found here. (OC does deter crime... I have proof) Lets say that punk did get my bag and I simply tripped his bike, knocked him off and took my bag back... a struggle ensued but my gun stayed holstered the whole time.

If the other kid came over to help his buddy out and started wailing on me, would it be a justifiable shoot? I mean after all I just took my bag back and didn't go after them, just stopped them from taking it.

How would that play out?

I see your point Jim but look at it through the eyes of a jury...full grown man vs. two kids? And a prosecutor would nail that point home over and over and over againl; that they were JUST KIDS. IANAL of course.

I could see the prosecution now...Members of the jury...Look at this MAN , this MAN here thought he was in fear for his life from two CHILDREN on bicycles. Two children out riding their bikes to the park on a summers day.

I know all too well how someone especially a lawyer can turn things around to look the worse..

Case in point:

I was previously married.. Young (25) started working in pizza delivery at 16 until 24 then I bought a shop and it only lasted 2 years, started over working my way back up the workplace foodchain. 4 jobs later I got a great job 19.00/hr+health AND GREAT HOURS, only leaving the previous for something better.

Sounds normal to most people...Always looking for something better right? Plus at the time I had a wife and kids.

flash forward to divorce: Her lawyer.. HE has never been able to hold a job!!! had 4 jobs in 6 years Failed as pizza shop owner. She has been in the same job for 7 years..

Her...same job 7 years.....still making slightly more than minimum wage.

They can turn whatever the situ. is into whatever they want.

BTW, Yes I am still bitter!

Then MY lawyer will most likely find video of these two "children" on Facebook or elsewhere and the jury can decide if they could pose a threat or not. Kids today - I bet the available video would work well.

I've come to learn most kids now days are punks who don't get smacked around enough by their parents. While I've known kids to do really small time criminal things, I've never known them to try and pinch someone's bag unless they're shitheads who mug people.

Just sayin...
