Yeah, carrying under LEOSA... Didn't want to make a big deal out of it.

All I was trying to say, is that carry OWB is so comfortable, even in a state where I'd rather bury the firearm, I'd rather still carry OWB.

If I were in Chicago though, it would be deeply concealed.

OK, gotcha. Happy carrying

Have you ever had to produce your badge/ID to a "non-friendly state" LEO while carrying...and how did that go?

This will be my first LEOSA carry actually, I have a PA LTCF and a Florida CWP, and I've only really been to FL so far...

If I'm in a gun friendly state, (aside from PA) I'd way rather present my carry permit, rather than my 'ubermensch' credentials...

I don't like the idea of even spending my money in gun-unfriendly... For this reason, I won't visit NYC, Chicago, etc...

Have to visit MD though, since my wife's best friend lives there.

On that subject, I haven't been to Ocean City, which is my favorite vacation spot since I started carrying and learned about their laws.

As to a holster... First time I OC'd was in an uncle mikes! My XD Now resides in a CQC Serpa with the paddle attachment.

I can't blame you... I would never 'vacation' in a state that doesn't really let their own residents carry.

MD is technically an OC state LOL, your LEOSA status would cover it, but....

And so far none of my neighbors have had a chance to see me OCing on the 10 acres, the only place I can OC in MD other than while trapping/small game hunting. In fact I may ask my neighbors who own a little over 100 acres if I can "hunt groundhogs", so I could walk on their property while carrying LOL. All I need is a written permission slip, an orange cap, and my hunting lisc. If my DNR fan club were to be staking me out, my butt is covered for "hunting" groundhogs with a .40 cal LMAO. It has been years since I walked down to the creek back in there. My other option is to OC a bigass single edge blade knife. No "groundhog hunting" permission needed with that.
