"Pa. Patriot Arrested" ~Dickson City incident summary, info, and announcement thread.

It was requested that there be a summary thread for the Dickson City incident.

The original thread is found here:

That thread contains the original planning/roll callfor the OC dinner at Old Country Buffet.
On Pg.15 the reports of what happened during the actual dinner start coming in. The thread is now nearly 250 pages in legnth (2400 posts) and contains a lot of "chatter" and discussion in addition to the imprtant info and updates.

This thread is to serve as a collection of some of the posts from the discussion thread that contain important info or updates..
Some selected commentary is included as well.

This is to make updates easier to find and follow without wading through that massive discussion thread.

This thread will remain locked so as to keep it exclusively informational in nature, with updats being added by staff as they become available. This info will also be posted in the aforementioned discussion thread and all discussion regarding these updates is welcome there.

Keep in mind that some of the posts may not seem to "flow" naturally together in this thread. This is due to them being selected for their individual content, and placed in this thread by the order of date posted. As such they may be out of context in comparison to the posts immediately before or after them.

We begin this summary below with post #146 of the original thread. This is the first post to come in concerning the incident at the dinner.

There will likely be a new thread started very soon.

OC Dinner didn't go as smooth as expected - About 8 police cars showed up and at least as many police officers. All people who were immediately seen OC'ing were escorted outside.

I believe Pa. Patriot was arrested and taken in. He did NO wrong though.

After about 40mins - everybody was allowed back in. They did harass TaurusGuy a little further as folks started leaving.

I don't want to say too much now - I'll let the individuals or spouses speak for themselves.

Rich was arrested. Will wait for Mrs. PA before I say any more and I ask you all to do the same for the time being. Keep Rich and his family in your prayers.

learned the following in chat:

[name removed] 10:17 pm: They weren't taking him to jail just going to let him go He was standing outside talking to the Leo when I left they were returning his guns but were checking his bug as it wasn't regestered

When the police got there and escorted us out to the exit vestibule me wife called WBRE news to come down. They asked if the people with the firearms were robbing the place and when they were told no they replied we don't have a crew to cover this

Basically, Rich schooled them and they realized they had screwed up royally and let him go without charging him with anything.

We have been talking with Kim Stolfer and my lawyer.

I will let Rich fill in the details as he sees fit.
