Great way to apply the leverage! Perhaps the salutation should read "Dear Sir or Madam"?

I'm old school. For me, "Dear Sir" is the appropriate way to begin a business letter. And I write in "Longhand", not "Cursive". Politically correct I'm not.

I'm in way late on this one. I work for the company, and my first thought was to tell you the store manager was talking out of his ass. That was covered. I was also going to find the policy for you guys. Covered as well. Job well done. Moving along.

Just in case this happens again, the Lowe's is down Rt 41 and Rt 1 in West Grove across the street from the State Police Barracks.

Since you are in Atglen you are about halfway between both HD and Lowes.

Good job. Now go back to that store, OC, and demand to see the manager to ask for an apology face-to-face.

Good job! That is the way things should be handled, and it is good to hear that despite managerial inefficiency, there are people in corporate who know what is what.

FWIW

I emailed corporate customer relations and asked for a hard copy of their firearms policy, or at least a page on the web I could read and print.

You mean he wasn't putting up a "no firearms allowed" sign up when you returned? That's odd

Anyway really good job! The best part for me was corporate confirmation of you rights.

Hey great job, It does no use arguing with someone when they have their mind made up, reguardless of the facts. So you politely and tactfully took it to the next level and came out on top.

So when you go back OC and don't make a production of it. You, no we all won so lets be gracious in victory and not rub his face in it. He knows you won and firearms owners are not a group to roll over.

Take the high road, there less traffic
