Who's going to bother you out in the sticks, besides some soccer moms and renegade sheriffs who covet y'alls LTCFs?
Thats why I moved here, to not worry about SD as much (and Jim Thorpe Schools are a lot nicer then Allentown IMHO). And Bob, based on the other thread (Zoo) this should be good, no confrontation. (Had to throw that in ). As far as a 1/2 tank of gas, no, I drive to Allentown for work 5-6 days a week and I only use 1 tank in a 6 cylinder. Just take 145 up to Blue Mountain Drive and over the mnt. 45 minutes.

AMEN. I have been thinking of moving to the Trout Run area, I have family there and it is STILL rural.

As to if I can attend, I'll have to see how funds are.

LOL!!!! You just gave my secret weakness away to everyone. Now everybody will be looking for a deal with a muffin in hand. Count me in on the dinner.

I also can’t wait for The Glacier to open! I have been in the place and love it! I am always asking Longshot about the food he is going to have in there. I love food!! http://www.theglacieronline.com/

Your six cylinder gets better mileage than mine, then... an hour-and-a-half round trip in my guzzling 3.7 liter six (Jeep Liberty) sucks up half the tank... well, maybe on a good day 7/16.

They should come with a gauge wherein the GAS and WALLET indicators are 180 degrees... when one's full, the other's empty.

Are you even allowed to OWN a gun in Indian Mountain Lakes? Thought that was against the rules? :P

Yeah you can own them, but they want you to register your firearms with the association/security. As Fraggle knows, my girlfriend lives there and I am in IML 5-7 days a week. I've been pulled over for going 28mph in a 25 and gotten the 100 dollar fine for it. However, I did not feel it was necessary to let a private security guard know I was carrying my firearm. If they don't see it, it's not a problem. As far as OC'ing there, well then you better register your firearm or deal with the security stopping you, fining you, forcing you to register your firearm, or, possibly drawing on you. Some of the security there really want to be police officers, guess they couldn't cut it.

No you do not register the firearm its self, The rule states that security needs a copy of your LTCF in order to carry in IMLCA (OC or CC). If it were not for deed restrictions and fines I would not.

DO NOT BUY IN AN ASSOC.

[/hijack] sorry
