The Beaver and Butler County Public Defenders Offices sounds like the Public Defenders Offices. I don't see Colafellas name on the list.

From the website(s):

The Public Defender’s Office of Beaver County represents those individuals who cannot afford private counsel in criminal cases, mental health hearings, summary appeals, juvenile matters and in indirect criminal contempt hearings on violation of protection from abuse orders. In order to be represented, a defendant must complete an application with the department to see if he or she qualifies for its services based upon income guidelines.

Your lack of comprehension here is making my head hurt. How did you get this, from the quote you posted???? How about you read it again, then decide whether or not to donate, and keep the left field assumptions that are based on other than reality, to yourself.

Tell us what the need is before we donate.
If I'm not mistaken, Rich & Greg work closely with the funds...it's all for a good cause..whether it be to help John now, or other future cases because we all know something WILL pop up in PA and be in need of a fundraiser.

Then don't donate ....

I hope you are not this uninformed on firearms laws and you get into a similar situation.

Geez, guys... lighten up.

The man made a few wrong assumptions and opined out loud... no big deal, the story is straight now... and he's been very generous to the site in the past, and probably will continue to be so in the future... assuming you don't bite his head off first.

The way I see it, Mtn Jack deserves any surplus that is left over from the fund raiser. If I had it to donate, I would.

Tell me you are making this crap up. You can't be for real.

The Public Defender works for a county. There was no PD in this trial.
