And I'm sure they've been monitoring this website for a long time prior to this incident. With all the "research" they've done here, you'd think they'd know that open carry is legal by now. |

How would this not fit what mtn jack may have done?
http://law.onecle.com/pennsylvania/c...3.002.000.html § 3302. Causing or risking catastrophe. They just don't like it. At that point their personal opinion becomes more important to them than the law itself.

And we all know .22 LR boxes have a warning that the bullets can travel one mile. I do not see how this plays in to the picture at all.
Mtn Jack was NOT breaking any laws (according to the information presented here). Of course any case that goes to trial is subject to the judge's interpretation of the law(s). Mtn Jack was at a peaceful rally acting peacefully. He was NOT in a secure area. He invited us to accompany him but evidently nobody did. I just do not see the logic of people saying Mtn Jack was wrong in his actions. Next you will say that if Obama visits PA then we should not OC anywhere in the state that day. 1A, 2A... Remember?

In a roundabout way, that was my point. Either these officers are incompetent, in which case they should be fired, or they knowingly broke the law, which should also lead to their firing (and prosecution).
