Default First annual "Chilly" Chili OC Event (York, PA)

**EDIT 27 JAN 2015 @ 10AM** If you're in for the 31st, send me a PM. We're planning on kicking off around noon, so I want to get a headcount. I'll also shoot you my address.

    Okay folks:
This thread Brought us to this point...So here we have it. It looks like after my previous neighborhood encounter we've drummed up enough support to (possibly) gather in my yard and enjoy some OC camaraderie, Wings, usual BBQ fare and Chili (with or without beans...)

Since we're all in agreement that carry=good, we'll only have to decide whether or not chili should have beans!

It'll be chilly outside, but it looks like more than a few of you are willing to brave the potential cold for some good eats and the opportunity to show the neighbor(s) that I'm not some loner.

    I will provide:

    - Tables
    - Chairs
    - Tent/Heaters if need be temperature depending
    - Plates/Cutlery
    - Crock pot of my soon-to-be-famous pulled pork with buns
    - Baked beans
    - Chips/Snack fare
    - Sodas/Water
    - My house for bathroom/get out of the weather

I'll also have a grill and some dogs/burgers if turnout looks solid

I suppose I'll start a poll to float some dates and then we can figure out attendance / Potluck, etc

I think a good potlock would be fine. Everyone bring a dish. I'm in with 2 & 3/18th persons.

    Mmmm Homemade blue cheese...

Since I set up the poll and am good with any date, I'm good for the 1st. That brings our adult total up to at least 5 thus far.

I just googled and let out a genuine 'oh crap'

So either A. Reschedule, or B. this comes inside after to where I have a 70" for the most interesting superbowl party ever.

    You're awesome OP. I'll go.

If your neighbor will be home for the superbowl sunday that's awesome. Otherwise he may be away. I don't watch the stupid bowl. Therefore I dont care. Plus you're event can be coupled, and merged with the super bowl. FYI I wear a heavy jacket in the winter, and it covers my handgun.

I could do Jan 31 or Feb 1.

So since I have no cooking skills, I can purchase any last minutes necessities.

Thanks for the compliment! Now will you tell my wife? Lol.

As for my neighbor, I'd be surprised if he wasn't going to be home.

I'll narrow down the poll in a day or so to a "what day can't you make it" sort of thing. But with a 5800sqft house, I've got indoor superbowl room as well as a small airsoft practice spot in my basement. Makes for good timed tueller drills! You'd be surprised how effective those "toys" can be!

Re: concealed. No complaints from me. I'm sure someone will be along to suggest an M4 anytime now, though. Haha
