Couldn't have been much more fair than that. Kudos to ABC as well as all the VCDL/OCDO members that were interviewed.

Another nail in the coffin of the "OC will ruin it for all of us" crowd's argument.

That was a pretty decent segment. Lets all hope all is well in the SCOTUS decision tomorrow... or should I say this morning

I just tried to check up on threads over at OCDO and their site is down. I'm guessing it's being hammered hard because of the newscast.

The only thing I didn't like was the reference to the "wild west", however, I think they segued nicely out of it.

one thing i thought i heard was the host's version of the courts decision tomorrow being a national decision, he should have been more clear about it being a Md/D.C. issue and not a national one.

other than that even the music and the cowboy reference i thought it was goood goood good

watched it twice now. It's almost like the reporter really couldn't believe the gun owners were so normal and reasonable. His attitude was constant disbelief(could this actually be). Definitely more good than bad. I think they see the writing on the wall for tomorrows SCOTUS decision. If they thought tomorrows decision was going to be against gun owners, the segment would have had a totally different slant. I think they were kind of forced into being fair on the subject.

Nice job by everyone in attendance.

Surprising a fair piece on OC, other than reporter contacting the police part then doing his little drama scene still trying to make OC “scary”.

I also liked the part covering retention holsters. I wish the subject could have put the weapon retention move on the reporter when he tried to grab the firearm, would have made the story.

Someone should send a copy to Dickson City police dept and council.

IF its on TV it must be the law.
