If you are asking if it's legal to carry in a church nursery, then yes. It is.

Like any other private property, if you would be asked to leave because of your firearm, you must do so immediately or you will be guilty of trespass.

hey Irish, if you're methodist you might want to check with the pastor. I never had any problems at the methodist church back home, but then they're all farmers and probably would laugh if I showed them that link.

If you have to ask, you have to run the risk of being denied.

If you don't ask, and it's concealed, then nobody knows.

Non deno christian. Pastor seems in touch with constitutional law. Had a good service last week about flag day and the lord blessing the U.S. I believe him to be good with it. And the congrigation seem to be like minded as well.

Our pastor goes shooting with me. He OC'd on one occasion with me. And, a couple of weeks ago, I forgot to put my check in the offering plate, so as the sermon was starting up, I went walking back to the church office. As I went around the corner, I discovered one of the deacons settling into a chair by the front door of the church with a portable listening device so he could listen to the sermon.

My interest piqued, I asked him about it. He told me that a couple of the men had been talking, and were concerned that the nursery was essentially unguarded, with only one woman and a bunch of babies right next to the door, with no men near. So, they were going to take turns sitting during the sermon to keep an eye on things and make sure no one came waltzing in with ill intent. I told him I would be glad to take my turn, and reminded him that I was carrying in case it was ever needed. His response?

"I think that is so cool that you have that gun with you."

Now if only I could get a few more men in the church to think that way...

I'd say carry away, and if the people in your church have a problem with it, you need to find a different church.
