Arrested, that's the difference between them knowing and not knowing. They knew and yet didn't care. And really, why should they? They've been going relatively unchecked until recently.
From the beginning of these OC threads, it was always about getting information out to LE. The training memo's and flyers were, and still are a great idea. You'd think they'd work as it is the law and once made aware of that fact everyone would be on the same page. It hasn't proven to be the case.
It seems fairly obvious that "training" is going to have to come in the form of penalties paid by these cities for allowing this to continue. Once there's a known penalty, something they see is going to be their cost of doing business as usaul, I believe is the only answer.
We are on the right track. We're pretty organized and we're fighting back. Thats something they hadn't dealt with before.

I hope the "Steve" that just got on the air isn't one of us.

He was only half correct. He failed to mention that the law limits the places a person is going to/from while having gun in a vehicle without a LTCF.

He also kept mentioning concealed permits, we don't have CCW's we have LCTF's. I think someone with more knowledge then me needs to call and straighten that point out.
