Regardless if the OP had ANY permit/license at all, he was legal to open carry his firearm...as long as he wasn't a prohibited person...which apparently he is not.

DON'T EXPECT THEM TO DO THE RIGHT THING! The DCPD was iladvised by the Lackawanna County Ass.DA.

This is getting interesting and almost pushing me to the point to give up concealed carry in favor of open carry. I have some school loans that a successful lawsuit against the police could help pay off. j/k...I really can't believe how many incidences I'm reading about where people are being harassed by the police.

My wallet isn't big enough for the filing cabinet of paperwork I need to carry around with me...it's pain in the ass as it is.

And a few days later the DA (Bar stool faller) Andy Jarbola backpedaled and said, "OC is OK". Now we come to Luzerne County...Ohhh what a tangled webs we weave... I don't have any prof...yet...But $5 'ill get you $10... One of the Ass.DA's of Luzerne County is non other than??? The Mayor of Scranton's brother, and former Scranton Police retired- Sargent, Timmy Doherty. This is a tangled web in the Northeastern part of PA. I'll be looking into what I can about a phone call on Saturday night to the Da's Office on-call Ass.DA....Don't be surprised? I wouldn't!!

The call was for man on the coner with gun in hand ?? but found op on a another street with gun holstered ?? like to here 911 call or did they make that up
