I just got back from The Dickson City Council meeting. This was the first council meeting I ever attended.
There was phenomenal turn out of supporters and PAFOA members. All of our speakers were very eloquent,I applaud you all. however I will let them speak for themselves.

I think it was largely a PR event. Local TV and paper well represented.
The Dickson City council chairperson and the mayor both stated they supported the PD. They both said they think the PD was justified and acted accordingly. No surprise there.

A few citizens expressed concern that their rights and "community standards" were violated.

One asked council to pass a ordinance banning firearms in the borough building

It will be interesting to see were this goes. I think Something Wicked This Way comes to Dickson City.

WTF does "community standards mean? Am I reading correctly, that it is not up to their "standard" to carry a firearm?

I think we should ban ignorant citizens from borough buildings.
