Its not illegal for a male to search a female or for a male to search a female. Search being a pat down. Anything further and they will call for a female officer to thoroughly search a female suspect. Don't want the suspect claiming the male officer copped a feel!

(oh, grabbed some ammo @ wal*mart before the group shoot with the Bersa on my side. My mom was shocked that nobody said anything to me. It was my first time OCing outside the group shoots and our property. I liked the feeling, just have to get a good quality pistol and holster.)

Well hell wasn't she is in his pockets?? That is a little to close for comfort for me. No matter what gender it was still an illegal search!!!!

Frankly, had the female cop searched me and stolen my wallet, I may well have filed a complaint about her touching me inappropriately. It's a two way street.

Not to mention... what happened to that $100 that was in there??!! There are good reasons from the point of simple career preservation for cops not to illegally rifle through people's wallets.

I got frisked by one up and down while she went through my pockets and pulled out my wallet, my cell, receipts and other papers.

The "frisk" is for weapons only as stated before. Only items that are immediately recognized as contraband can be seized as well. Even this is based on officer's "training, knowlege and experience." I think the officer will have a hard time explaining how she believed papers, wallet and cellphone could be immediately construed as contraband and removed from your person.

Only in a search "incident to arrest" can ALL items be removed from pockets waistbands etc.
