Wondering what the 911 dispatcher told police on the original call...can the 911 tapes be obtained as potential evidence?

Did the person in the restaurant who called cops say anything to any of the forum members BEFORE he/she called?

When I saw the changed title for this forum thread, I initially thought it was a joke, but at the first new post my jaw dropped.

Thank you all for "sticking to your guns" so to speak. I will be eagerly watching this thread for news and events.

I'd be curious to hear why only 1 participant was arrested for "failure to identify"? All present knew the legality of such a request, yet only one didn't cave to it. Did anyone even "refuse consent" before complying?

I was covered up,CC,so when asked I had to show my LCTF. At this point I won't post any details. Greg,I'll either PM you or we can talk on the phone.

Something else I thought of...earlier in the thread somebody said something about going to the CHAT for a more private conversation on this situation. Aside from that being public as well, can't the text of the chats be saved as a text file? I still would keep chats on a professional, courteous level and try not to get over-emotional there either.

When I seen the thread I thought it was a joke, but after reading all the post I can't beleive what happened. A fun night out with friends ends like this.

Since the chat conversation was brought up, I'd like to ask that anyone who saved it, NOT post it publicly until Pa. Patriot has had a chance to read it.(I sent him a copy)

I would not want anything to jeopardize any legal proceedings as a result of posting the info prematurely.

Imagine I get home from Buffalo after having a cystoscopy and run into this. Unfortunately if criminal charges are filed I suspect the DA will do his best to cover it up and not follow up. The only way to get him off the dime is some bad press. Compare him to Nyfong and yell coverup! Should an LEO or two loose their career it would be tough on them but if that is the only way the LEO community can get their act together it just has to be.

I don't think it would tough for an LEO or two to lose jobs over this. This is jackbooted thuggery. Yeah it could have gotten worse, but this is the police becoming the law rather enforcing it. How can they enforce something about which they know nothing?

We as private citizens are always told, ignorance of the law is no excuse. How much more then, should those who enforce the law be held accountable for knowing it? It is unreasonable to expect people to know their business? But then again, I am on hold with HP about a #$%@& computer for about the 10th time, so maybe I am being unreasonable in expecting people to know their jobs!

By the way, I'm not trying to take a swipe at you or start an argument, I'm just very wound up about this.

Glad that nobody went to jail, hopefully this whole thing will do much to highlight the lack of training LEO's actually get as to the LAWS of the Commonwealth rather than public perception.

Just let us know where the legal defense help goes to.
