When I saw the title of this I thought "Oh, no, here we go again!!! Why doesn't he find somewhere else to eat!!!" Then I saw when it was from.

It sure has been an interesting 18 months...........

I'm guessing they don't like to air their dirty laundry.

I have no doubt this happened. I do private armed security and we deal with the county in which our firm is located providing security at the three goverment buildings. When the courtrooms get too full we have to assist in providing security.

I have been in more then a few sessions where the police have been caught overstepping their authority and having personal opinions get turned into law (at least in the officer's and PD's mind) and get chastized by the judge.

There is a reason that officers now a days get looked at by the public with suspecious eyes. Not all, mind you, but the saying goes "A few rotten apples spoil the bunch". Look at the incidents in this and other threads. The officer in Philly with his son attacking a woman in a Lukoil comes to mind. As does the incident in the Whitehall (Allentown) Home Depot.

Part of the oath is "To Protect and Serve", not "To Protect and Serve Our Own Interests or Beliefs".
