A simple answer would be sufficient.

LMFAO, that was a simple question, asked so I could give you a simple answer. From your answer, I would guess that the answer is yes, and that by answering my question, you were able to answer your own question.
For future reference, if I mean a question to be sarcastic, it will generally have a little emoticon rolling it's eyes, next to it...kinda like this

Poor Dickson City. Is there a cop in that town that hasn't been sued. They really need to professionalize their department, it's a mess.
http://www.scrantontimes.com/article...55201_top6.txt Dickson City cop accused of verbally attacking woman BY JESSICA DURKIN AND GRETCHEN WINTERMANTEL STAFF WRITERS Published: Saturday, March 07, 2009 Updated: Saturday, March 7, 2009 9:07 AM EST DICKSON CITY — A Greentown woman is suing a Dickson City police officer she says verbally attacked her in public, according to court documents. Roseann Lore, who is seeking unspecified damages, claims Patrolman Chris Brazen hurled expletives at her, told her she should have had an abortion and said her children were going to foster care after she left them at Circuit City for a short time to retrieve money at home. She has filed a civil rights lawsuit in federal court against the part-time patrolman for the December 2007 incident at Circuit City. Police Chief William Stadnitski and the Borough of Dickson City also are listed as defendants. Borough administrators were served the lawsuit this week; the lawsuit was filed Dec. 16. According to the complaint, two days before Christmas, Ms. Lore left her kids, then 9 and 10, at the store while getting cash from home to complete a purchase. The store did not accept personal checks and she did not have a credit card. Two sales associates told Ms. Lore the children, who wanted to stay at the store, could remain while she went to get the money, according to the complaint. Ms. Lore returned 45 minutes later to find Patrolman Brazen speaking to a store manager. Ms. Lore said she approached Patrolman Brazen and, in the presence of the store manager, sales associates and customers, he told her “you’re the [expletive] mother,” “you’re [expletive] stupid” and “what’s the [expletive] matter with you?” Later, in a back office, he asked her: “Are you married? Are you divorced? Do you have a boyfriend? Are you a prostitute?” and told Ms. Lore she should have had an abortion, the complaint says. He also threatened that Ms. Lore’s children would be taken away from her. The officer interrogated the children separate from Ms. Lore, according to the complaint. He later released the family without issuing any citations or charges. Ms. Lore reported the matter to Chief Stadnitski, but claims he did not adequately investigate. Efforts to reach the retiring chief were unsuccessful Friday. Acting Chief William Bilinski declined to comment, and efforts to locate Patrolman Brazen were unsuccessful Friday night. Ms. Lore’s attorney, Robert Buttner, declined comment. “If the allegations are true, I apologize to Ms. Lore on behalf of our officer for how he handled the incident,” Mayor Tony Zaleski said. The officer’s employment is unchanged, the mayor said. Council President Barbara Mecca declined comment. Borough solicitor Bill Jones deferred comments to Bruce Wickersham, a Philadelphia-based attorney retained by the borough’s insurance carrier. A message left for Mr. Wickersam late Friday afternoon was unreturned. Contact the writers: jdurkin@timesshamrock.com gwintermantel @timesshamrock.com |

Evidently those who do not read every word of every court document (or other) posted are to be insulted eh? Thanks for your understanding.

I can't divulge specifics at this time, but it is a reliable source. Suffice it to say that I have some really good contacts very close to the inner workings of this case.

Hi all...
Being fairly new here, I'm finding out a WEALTH of information on gun rights, as well as "do's and dont's" for various scenarios. So, thank you all for that! One of the things I'm having trouble with is following enormous threads like these. Would it be possible (without being flamed ) to update the OP with "cliffs notes" linking to various posts of huge significance to the story? I read through something like 75 pages and just then realized only a few weeks in real time had lapsed between pages 1 and 75 ![]() If I've missed a summary that has already been posted in the bazillion pages so far, forgive me... Thanks!! And keep up the good work guys (and gals)... Patrick |
