Wouldn't that depend on whether or not the court decided to enter the deposition with the court clerk? Correct that the norm is not to, but in some cases it is, and would should be entitled to public review?

I agree though that I was always under the impression (note: I'm not a lawyer) that depositions were soley used for the purposes of refuting or proving a witness statement.

I for one would love a recap. I got 1000 or so posts into this whirlwind, and would love to get the Readers Digest version.

I'm glad to know there are people out there defending my rights, even if I haven't invested the time to do so myself. MY FAULT, NO ONE ELSE'S, and something that must be remidied or suffer the consequences. I'll be keeping my eyes open for OC events in my neck 'O' the woods.

Thanks again to ALL of the members, but specifically those of you standing up for the rest of us.
