"Preposterous" and "silly" are names. You called me those things.

Circular logic ... ????

I now, as they say, rest my case.

I think you just want to antagonize. I'm too am not willing to put up with your antics.

ThomasJ ~ TonyF

Enough.

ThomasJ. Fix your post in regards to WHO you are quoting. Misquoting is a rules violation. If you want to use the quote to make a point to Tony - fine. But you MUST quote accurately including crediting the quote with the proper person.

Preposterous is not a name or a noun; it's an adjective, and was used to describe your reasoning.

Here is your fallacy:

Well done Mr Statkowski. +100

Did you get a reply?

I might also suggest sending that to the Commision members. Or setting up a face to face with the commision members. They also have quarterly meeting you can attend.

FYI, Colonel Jeffrey B. Miller is on his way out of the PSP to take over security for the NFL.

I'd be interested in any response.

The June 2008 meeting was held in Pittsburgh. I don't know where the next one will be.

I had sent a letter to Kanjorski, a while ago. I didn't expect anything from him. Just wanted to bitch at some one. Got the following back this morning.

Thank you for informing me of your support for those who openly carry firearms in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I appreciated hearing from you on this important issue.

As you know, local media outlets have recently reported on an incident on May 9, 2008, in which several individuals were legally carrying firearms, both openly and concealed, in an Old Country Buffet in Dickson City, Pennsylvania. Local police officers were called to the scene to investigate and subsequently confiscated one individual’s firearm. As a result, several of these individuals have filed a federal lawsuit against the Borough of Dickson City for civil rights violations.

During the 110th Congress, we may have the opportunity to consider legislation pertaining to openly carrying a legal firearm. In that event, you can rest assured that I will keep your thoughts in mind and take actions as appropriate. Throughout the many debates we have each year on gun control legislation, my goal has been to preserve our Second Amendment rights while keeping firearms out of the hands of criminals.

Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. Please feel free to contact me again about any issue of interest or concern to you.

Sincerely,

Paul E. Kanjorski
Member of Congress

He is my Rep. as well. I receive response letters from him on an almost daily basis, although this is the first I've heard of a possibility of legislating OC. In the last one, he reaffirms his pro 2A stance and says he voted against the AWB and will do so again, if it gets out of committee. I might actually get a birthday card from him this year from being on his radar so often, lol.
