I don't feel I attacked anyone. I took an opposing position to yours. I explained my position. I used a bit of sarcasm and irony, but I hardly consider that an attack. If by again, you mean that I previously attempted to accurately descibe a deputy's job, and was infracted for it as a personal attack, well, ok. As I am sure will be soon pointed out, making highly inflammatory posts and then claiming cop bashing or personal attack when someone disagrees or takes exception, is not going to be tolerated here. Or, hell, I could get infracted for excessive personal attacks, ya just never know....

Does any one else see this pattern with Dave? You ask him a question that he does not agree with and you are "attacking him" or he labels you as a cop basher and he is not even a freaking cop.

Actually when on duty I inform other deputies that OC is legal and to not interfere with someone OCing. You don't know me at all. You wouldn't get a second glance from me if you were OCing. Take your hate mongering else where.

You say you know that OC is legal, yet you think that all those folks eating together at OCB merely missed a few bites of food.

If I had a nickel for every thread you came in to defend this bad cop or that one, I'd have enough money to fill the gas tank of a diesel locomotive. I don't think I've ever come across anyone who is as insecure and defensive as you are. You might want to grow a few more layers of skin. Oh, feel free to put me on your ignore list too.

I have a suspicion that many police officers have no idea about the truth behind the right to OC......and so therefore....they make mistakes. Happens in every job.

I agree. Then when it is pointed out that they may be wrong they get offended. Then they need to over compensate. It is their job to be in control of the situations that they respond to.

I was an LEO for four years and never knew OC was legal, till I signed onto this website.

And your right. We (LEO) don't like to be made to look stupid. No one does. Now I got a guy reading me the law off better than I know it. He is telling me stuff that I have no idea if it is true or not. He is making me look pretty stupid, I'll probably get defensive. Is this Wrong? Yep. But I bet I would have copped (pun intended) an attitude too.

Hate to make example of "these poor LEO's". But how many do you forgive before you finally are allowed to stand up and say enough is enough. Apparently they don't think they have to obey the law. More of them think they can enforce the law as they see it. I want to know how many incidents do we have to have before it is OK to do something about it? I think we have reached that point. And the sh*t is about to start rolling downhill and the local LEO's are going to have to learn that OC is LEGAL, and a good law suit will spread the word around PA like wildfire.
