I'm not a lawyer, but I have read many legal pleadings over the years in the course of my work. One thing I've always found peculiar is that lawyers can offer multiple and even conflicting defenses. It is then up to the judge and jury to sort through things to get at whatever the "truth" may be. Legally, the "truth" is what gets ruled in court. That's why any judge or lawyer will tell you someone judged not guilty is legally not the killer in a murder case, in spite of what many people may believe. The defendants in this case will probably benefit by having multiple lawyers, thereby adding multiple levels of confusion to those who will ultimately judge the case. Sometimes the complexity of a case will cause the jury to throw up its hands and simply rule one way to get the thing over with.

Exactly what I thought. With this many hits. It would be a pity to not have everyone up to date on what is going on.

No postings allowed. Just a sticky with a calendar of events since it started and the important stuff listed. Updated by a moderator every once in a while.

Which one of the mods would want to be the "lucky" one who has to go through every page here to try and get all the exact information to assemble it? I know it's something that would require much time and work and I can say it's something I wouldn't want to have to do if I was in their spot.

I wasn't suggesting a merely a digest of this thread, I was thinking more along the lines of just an announcement thread, that way things like, more lawsuits, media appearances are easy to find.

Understandable, but I would assume they have some info ready that could be posted in some sort, just to keep everyone on the same page.
