I think the problem is American society.

We have gone from common sense to everything must be covered by law.

I see something I do not like then I can aggressively and vocally express my disapproval no matter how trivial or incorrect or illogical or even legal it is. Right makes might and I am right dammit! So, you can't do that here. I will get my aggressions out on you etc.

I cannot understand a whole community being so anti-gun or anti-carry as they would say. I would love to see the numbers of how many are transplants from other, restrictive states and countries etc.

Just curious, because they do not sound American to me. Unless of course, America has changed that much and I am (we are?) just an old relic now.

Is there no one in Dickson City with backbone or who might be colored patriotic? Is there no backlash from within? Or are their voices being shouted down?

As for me I wasn't protesting anything I went for dinner and to meet people from this site. As I like to talk about whats going on in the world. No one at my table mentioned guns If I recall correctly. And we were surprised when the officer showed up at our table.

I was sitting with TonyF,Cougar8045, and reverserboy.

Next it will be OK for me to ride my Harley, but only if I am not riding with any of my friends who are riding their Harleys.

I have one simple thing to say...This is an outrage and it is events like this that make the american law and government look like a joke. Here you have a set of laws set in stone since the foundation of our country and our own quote unquote protectors are ignorant to the laws they are swarn to protect.

In short, I think you should at least sue the sh!t out of them...And see to it that the offending LEO's get terminated from their positions. They don't deserve to wear the badge if they don't know the law.

This is no time for a rational solution!



ETA: Because they still have not received a negative response to how they handled the situation. News media was on their side, as were some residents from the meeting. Until it hits them in the pocketbook or reputation they won't give a shit....
