Rich, all I can say is I am in awe of your ability to take something like this in stride. I am sure the weight of this event is a burden you would rather not bear, but if I had to venture a guess you are more than capable of dealing with it.
I would also give much deserved credit to your Mrs., this can't be easy on her.

I'm done with him. I knew he was an ass, but he was tolerable yesterday. Today, not the case. I'm guessing that he actually thought we might get in trouble at the City Council meeting yesterday. Then when we didn't, there was no more exciting stuff for him to report.

One patron, Tommy Vaughn, threw himself through a plate-glass window to allow others to escape.[5] Hennard allowed a mother and her four-year-old child to leave. He reloaded several times and still had ammunition remaining when he committed suicide by shooting himself in the head after being cornered and wounded by police.

I just talked to my girlfriend about this when I read the quote about the greasy food being more of a threat than a possible assailant.

Well.... besides the fact that OC is illegal in TX

I think it would have made a huge difference if even ONE patron was armed.

Because the guy drove his truck through the front of the restraint, I doubt there would have been any deterrent factor, however his execution of the patrons would never have happened.

I'd also like to thank everyone who has been keeping up with this story. Welcome new members! and it makes me embarassed to admit I have never formally given any money to the PAFOA. I'm sorry it has taken all this to make me realize my selfishness.

Anyway as I have been discussing this with my girlfriend , speciffically the man in texas at the cafe she said "If I had a concealed carry permit that guy wouldn't have taken two steps" so now I'm trying to cinvince her to get one. Even if she dosn't plan on carrying alot an attractive woman needs to be carefull, and then she'll have it if needed.

Who knows, maybe my moms beretta may have a new home.....pink beretta anyone?

Also curious how many new members we have gotten since the story broke.
