Corbett has a felony on his record as he stated on the air last night, So I think he is just pissed he cannot own a gun no less carry one.

I've noticed a lot of gun control advocates have a record that prevent them from owning or carrying firearms. So IMHO I think its just their way of getting back at society.

The way I see that sign reading is that NO weapons are allowed in the OCB now...at all.


There are no exclusions made for LEO or the likes.

Hope the po-po didnt eat very often af OCB... if they do are they going to be required to leave their duty pieces in the car while they eat?

If you still frequent OCB and see a LEO packing his duty piece... I would FOR SURE tell the manager how uncomfortable you feel with an armed individual around... He could 'go off' at any time you know... like the council woman said... it COULD turn into a school shooting at OCB.

I listened to Corbett yesterday. He's a narrow-minded, condescending, rude bigot.


I find it ironic that he chatistizes the gun owners who chose to Open Carry as "showmanship", an immature display of "boys", some "hobby" masquerading under a charade of the exercise of a fundamental right.

His talk show, held out under the guise of journalism seeking informed discussion on a news station, is pure sensationalistic "showmanship".

He ridicules those he doesn't agree with, calls them names, and throws insults filled with patronizing platitudes. Tell me again who is the immature boy?

His show operates under the liberating freedom of the 1st Amendment. Yet he holds in distain the umbrella that shields this wonderful concept from suppression - the 2nd. That "hobby" he is so quick to disparage protects his livelihood from state sponsored censorship.


I have no desire to listen to such drivel from such a bigot. In his mind I'm a pariah; an obstacle to social progress. Not only should I sit down, shut up, and enlighten myself on the tenants of societal evolution, I'm expected to allow myself to be insulted until I finally grow up???!!!

Sounds to me like its time for a large number of people to download and print some of the "no guns no money" business cards and mail them off to the DC OCB. Maybe getting 100 or so of them will make them rethink their decision.

Next time I go to OCB I plan to make the comment that they will lose my business because, if it is true, they ban firearms.

My wife and I will be at Charlie Brown's for lunch today. I plan to let them know that I think that they run a standup place.

They're a private business. If they don't want to allow firearms, it's their right. They just want to peacefully operate their business, and given the spotlight and attention from the past few days, it isn't surprising. Let it die down a bit, go find somewhere else to patronize in the meantime, and let them operate their business.

I have two suggestions until lawmakers come to their senses: If you see someone wearing a handgun in public, call 911. And if you own a restaurant or any other private business, ban all guns from the premises.

I also have two suggestions until station managers come to their senses: If you hear Steve Corbett broadcasting over the radio in public, call the FCC. And if you own any private business, ban his station from the premises and boycott the products they advertise.


How's that sound?
