They offer accommodations for groups of 20 or more. Would it be worthwhile to plan for a second OC there with reservations for a group? Test the waters so to speak.

Next time I go to OCB I plan to make the comment that they will lose my business because, if it is true, they ban firearms.

My wife and I will be at Charlie Brown's for lunch today. I plan to let them know that I think that they run a standup place.

If in discovery in the law suits you get the name of the ADA that said it was OK to snatch PA's BUG file a complaint with the Bar assoc.

won't much happen but it could cause some annoyance. plus his response might be usable

Even if the male manager did call 911, they why did OCB took our money to go in to the dining room and then call 911. It doesn't make any sense. OCB should've tell us to just go away before we hand them the money. In fact, we even have to wait on the side for a while after we pay before going in because the tables are not ready.

In fact, I saw when one of the officer came in to the dinning room and ask the manager does she has any problem the gun owner eating at the restaurant. She said "NO".

This is totally bull crap. I am really pissed.
The 911 tape was played? Link? Why do you think the manager called 911?

Well see, they don't accept reservations....we did call ahead and inform them that a group of people would be coming into eat. The woman manager/asst manager told the police that they had no problem with us being there. So I don't see how doing this again would really help. And I myself am not planning on asking permission from anyone to OC anywhere that is legal....if they don't want us there...they will request us to leave. And well, if they don't want my money......I'll take it somewhere else.

It's very simple, if you feel threatened by seeing people in public with open weapons then CARRY YOUR OWN! ....................

Everyone keeps talking about a lawsuit, but I am wondering on what basis?

My initial thought is that PA Patriot may have cause, but I am really wondering about how solid the ground is for others.

I say this because I was stopped at gunpoint for OCing, although I was not arrested, and when I called various attorneys, they said that unless there was a pattern of such behavior, I was out of luck.

Would anyone care to either agree with me, or enlighten me as to what makes the multiple law broken in this incident more recoverable than my incident?

Or they should stay home. Man, I wish I coud call the police for everything that offends me in public (not really ), they would never get anything done!

Be safe (and thick skinned).

Links

http://pahomepage.com/content/fulltext/?cid=25398 - video link embedded with me on the air yesterday.

SNIP

"Organizations such as opencarry.org say these law abiding citizens were pulled from their dinner, asked for their "papers" and that personal property was confiscated."

NOTE: on the video, the police chief is very confused - like almost states, there is no gun registration and so seizing gun owners to run ID checks and gun serial number checks made no practical, and even less legal sense - I got in a cite to Arizona v. Hicks.
