I know personally, if I saw a dude with an ak in public i would watch him very closely. With all the assholes going to public places and blowing people away The first thing I would think is "is this a threat?" "is this a guy i might have to take out?" While it may be legal, it looks shady as hell, and really does the oposite of what we're trying to achieve.

Just because you can do something, it doesn't mean that it's in your best interest to do it. I'll admit when I was younger I probably would have thought it was cool to walk around carrying the ol' AK. Then I turned into my dad. This is not a post to bash OC (handgun) guys whatsoever, just for the record. I would almost guarantee, if you walk in an urban area with a so called "assault rifle", police will be on you like white on rice. Being shot by an over zealous officer for making a "wrong move" isn't worth proving a point.
