Default Police and open carry

I have to throw this one out here, because it comes of interest to see what the general thought is.

1) Do PA police academys teach anything to their cadets about open carry, what to do, how to handle it, and just the basic fact that it is legal so they don't harrass us?

2) Lets say that you are in the Hilton hotel for a conference, now you know that Mr Hilton isnt there, so being that there are no legitimate owners there, and if management asks you to leave because of your firearm, do you have to comply? They are not the owners.

Personally, from what I've seen, it's not even covered really.

Well, considering the tiny percentage of OC folks they are likely to encounter during an average day, I can't see it being very high on the priority list.

You would think that, which makes it more of a reason to make sure they understand the simple fact that it is legal, and not to harrass

I think the way that is worded is the owner or his agent or representative which would mean anybody in his employ... supposedly acting on the owner's behalf. At least that's how I understand it.

sure they do, they tell you to throw a S.H.I.T. F.I.T. This is standard new age policing technique for encountering the unknown.

Shout: "he's got a gun!"
Holler: "get your hands up!"
Intimidate: "or i'll blow your motherfucking head off!"
Tackle

Falsify: "stop resisting!"
Initiate an ass whooping
Taser them until their heart explodes

Basically, just hope you get a cop with grey hair who was taught back in the good old days that the public isn't the enemy....or, you know, conceal.

Think about it like this.

We are just one group among many groups who have laws that affect us specifically, but someone not in our "group" would have little reason to need to know(or care about)certain little obscure issues that don't affect them directly.

I'm sure that street racing folks get hassled for things that may not be illegal, but the LEOs THINK they are, or should be.

I'm sure that Muslim groups get hassled for things that are legal, but some LEOs don't know it.

I'm sure that Immigrants deal with many conflicts that could be resolved if those damned LEOs just understood every law regarding proper paperwork and documentation.

I'm sure you see what I'm saying here...

It's an issue to us, but not necessarily to THEM.

1) No

2) An employee is a representitive of the "boss"......if they ask, and you refuse to leave........you can be cited for trespass.

That's what I've heard mentioned before. The employee is an acting agent for the owner and therefore has the right to ask you to leave (or not tresspass).
