Target is a little bigger than your sheet of paper, and the yardage is more like 150-175 yards, we think.....but it's doable.

We steped back and hit the same target a handful of times at 220 yards. We got it like once or twice a mag.
Show off. But can you do it with a .45?

Yeah, that'd make things a tid-bit harder.

Done it many, many times one hand with a good S&W wheel gun, once you know where to hold it's not much of a problem to hit a 15 inch plate at 200 yds.

I just cut a piece of 1/2' steel plate into about 18" X 24" and was going to make a 200 yd pistol gong to try out after seeing the OP's bet and Synergy's vid.

I've always liked shooting distance with pistols but have only done it at 100.

I'll have to finish it and give it a run.

Maybe down the road, we can incorporate it into one of the group shoots just for shits and giggles.

I'll have to research the holdover for 180 gr .40 blazer.

For 200yds:
CZ-52 would hit it no sweat.
A nice single action 44mag with a 44spl lead wadcutter would be even easier.
And the guys with the scoped contenders.... bah!

.... but can you do that with your eyes closed, in freezing rain, while standing on one foot? I heard Lt. Fells can.

Nah....you shouldn't need to do any research.

Just start holding at the top edge, and then walk em in if you need to.

If you've got the steady hands and good trigger press...you'll start whacking it within the first mag.

I really hate this site sometimes. I just started hitting paper at 100 yards with my cz 75, Now you push me to go to 200 yards.

Oh great, now another stupid shooting experiment I have to do with my friend, if I can find a 200 yard spot to do it from. I think I can get a 100 span here at home and be safe, but 200 is gonna require a real range.

Today we were trying to hit a golf ball from 15 yards and down, he clipped it once at close range and I had bullet air moving it twice at the 10-15 yard line, and couldn't hit squat closer LOL. XD9 sub.

I think the trick to the 200 yard is to aim high LOL, but how high?
