My first time with anything other then a pistol....
Dextrimental and I went to the range after he kindly transported my firearm for my "photoshoot" with the Lebanon Daily News last Wednesday. He let me try his new 700 tactical. This is the first time I have ever shot anything other then a pistol so BE NICE! Here's my target...only shot three rounds...as you can see two of them ended up in the same spot...

From what distance SFN? Hell I don't think anybody can give you too much heck over that. Overall it's still barely over a inch group, maybe 1.25" or a tad bit over. You got 2 touching, I think that's a hell of a start. You have good trigger control, just probably inhaled ever so slightly as you sent that one. Well done ma'am, stick with it, you got alot of potential.

What caliber?
Did you shoot from a bench or standing? Open sites or scope? What did you thing of the recoil?

Um, it had a scope. I was sitting on a bench. It was a 338, is that what you mean? (admittedly I don't know anything about much of anything other then pistols
) I didn't think the recoil was bad. I had no idea what to expect the first time so I was a bit nervous.
